Muriate Of Potash
Full commercial grade Muriate of Potash. Potassium chloride is the most common potassium source for fertilizers, is widely known as muriate of potash, and is highly water soluble, it is also very strong at 60%K.
Muriate of Potash is the industry product of choice for agriculture and horticulture where potassium imbalances need to be corrected, cost effectively, efficiently and cost effectively.
Product Information
Potassium stimulates the growth of strong stems and gives the plant some disease resistance by promoting thickness of the outer cell walls. Adequate potassium can reduce moisture loss from growing plants, thereby giving some drought resistance. It is essential for below ground vegetables such as parsnips, carrots and potatoes.
Recommended amounts to apply vary depending on your target plant, hydrangea, azalea and rhododendron will not thank you for excessive potash applications where as your potatoes will.
We would recommend getting one of our soil test analysis carried out, giving you the true picture of your full nutrient status of your soil, and allowing you to tailor applications accurately and potentially save money too. Most soil nutrient levels are stable and therefore we would recommend a test every 3 to 5 years.

Store in cool dry conditions. Keep away from children, pets and food. Wash hands well after use. Clean up all spillages as soon as possible. Avoid spreading near garden ponds and water courses and dispose of the empty container responsibly.
Our Muriate of Potash is of the highest grade and contains very little dust, but to be safe please protect your eyes and mouth with appropriate PPE whilst handling and spreading.
